In the fast-growing world of smart rings, not all products are created equal. Many may look the same on the outside — sleek bands, glossy finishes, minimal design — but what truly matters is what’s inside.
Unfortunately, the market today is flooded with what we call “clone rings.” These are devices built by rebranding off-the-shelf hardware and using generic software stacks, often with minimal modification. While they may function, they lack the soul of innovation — no proprietary research, no custom hardware, and no real understanding of the user.

What Is a Clone Ring?
A clone ring is typically manufactured by using third-party ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers) that sell pre-built smart ring platforms. These platforms often come with standard sensors, pre-installed firmware, and basic health tracking algorithms that are reused across dozens of brands.

Why This Is a Problem
Clone rings may work for basic health tracking, but they often suffer from:
- Poor sensor calibration
- Lack of clinical testing
- Limited customization for different skin tones, fingers, or lifestyles
- Inaccurate data interpretations
- No long-term software updates or AI personalization
Most importantly, clone rings cannot evolve — because there’s no R&D team behind them.
What Makes Doni Different?
At Doni, we didn’t just want to sell another smart ring. We wanted to redefine what it means to wear technology that truly understands you.
🔬 Custom Sensor Hardware
We developed our own PPG (photoplethysmography) module, optimized for finger-based readings. Unlike generic modules, our sensors are built to handle real-life motion, varying skin conditions, and the unique shape of the human hand.
🧠 In-House Algorithm Library
Our signal processing and health analytics are fully self-developed.
We don’t rely on pre-built SDKs. We use our own AI-driven algorithm library to track:
- Blood pressure (with clinical validation)
- Stress and HRV
- Sleep cycles
- Hormonal response during interaction
- Emotion and energy trends
🧪 Validated by Research
We conduct clinical trials and continuous signal testing.
Our goal is simple: Don’t just collect data — understand it.
Innovation Is in Our DNA
Real innovation takes time. It takes engineers, biophysicists, designers, and a long list of failed prototypes. But that’s what makes Doni Ring special — not just the technology, but the effort behind it.
We’re not here to copy what’s already out there.
We’re here to build what’s next.
